Positive: Great facilities, perfect to keep cool in the heat with the bedroom air con and the pool. Real close to the shops and the main beach on this side of the island. Negative: It was great for us, but wouldn't recommend if you're planning on being loud as the residents are quite vocal about keeping it quiet (which is totally fair as they're living there)

The flat on the first floor is really gorgeous with all the équipement in the kitchen, bathroom, the AC in the bedroom working perfectly. The view from the Terrace is on the swimming pool and Lagoon. The TV has 8 channels (we were not able to use our USB key). The location is really great ., only a hundred mètres from a well furnished supermarket (where I went every morning for fresh baguettes and other viennoiserie) There is a pharmacie.a medical center , a snack/boulangerie and a Monoi Shop. The popular beaches:Mahana Park and PK 18 were only about 2 km. away and we reached them on foot. When we felt lazy we use the swimming pool in the résidence. If we return to Paea we will certainly come back to the résidence Fare Miti.

The apartment was brilliant with everything you need. Jeanette, our contact with the agency was absolutely brilliant! Sh
Positive: Nothing wrong with the property, we were hampered by bad weather but can’t help that! 2 supermarkets, bank, chemist bus stop and amenities on the doorstep. Perfect place if you just want to chill. Negative: The property is in a block of apartments obviously managed by a committee of residents who were not very welcoming ( the ones we met anyway!)The property is quite a distance from Papeete, which is as described, but the daily traffic was horrendous. Obviously, with it being a volcanic island the main route around the island is the main coast route which seems to be permanently clogged up with lots of slow moving traffic.

Unfortunate!
First thing we need to emphasise is that Jeanette, representing the agency, went over and beyond what you could expect. She’s a diamond! The apartment itself was what we expected and had everything as described. The apartment is in a block obviously managed by a residential committee who quite frankly were not welcoming at all. Other holiday makers at the apartments were very friendly but the residents who were obviously on the ‘syndicate’ were typical of committee members all over the world and made it clear that they resented holiday makers in their block of apartments!
