Lovely place to stay, and secure as a prison!
Positive: The room was well furnished, spacious, and very "Tahitian". The outside deck with two chairs and table with chairs on the other side was a bonus. The kitchen was well equiped, with a larger fridge than most suite hotels. The sliding doors allowed us to open up at night and listen to the ocean! Host Mere was very accomodating, even though she didn't understand English. The management even offered to let us stay past our checkout for free! Negative: The security seemed overboard, with locking gates at the vehicled entrance, locking gate at the front yard, locked doors front and back on the cabin, then locking gate at the back yard. In fact the entire back side was enclosed by an iron fence that interfered with the ocean view. So we're asking ourselves, what is the reason? Is crime a big problem here?

Great cabin, great stay, intimidating fence
We couldn't ask for more! Everything was very "Tahitian"! Very well equiped and peacefull. The management offered to let us stay over with no additional cost. We loved opening the doors at night to hear the ocean waves. The only drawback was the iron fence which enclosed the back and blocked the view of the ocean. It seemed a bit intimidating that this level of security is necessary... why?
