Dear Tony, Thanks for this constructive review. We are surprised you are disappointed about the air conditioning as it is NOT mentioned in the description of the house. You also said that you slept well the first night after venting the house. Furthermore, you never complained during your stay that the pool was super cold which is kind of strange as the temperature of the ocean (that is way bigger than a swimming pool) is currently of 28°C/82°F in Tahiti. We had a great stay in Punaauia, the house was lovely, with plenty of space for 6 of us. The view from up in the hills was spectacular, especially in the evening, watching the sunset. We loved sitting at the dining table on the terrace, eating dinner or having a drink, while the sun went down! Kitchen was well stocked with all the basics and a myriad of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Everywhere was spotless. Plenty of everything we needed. A great public beach at the bottom of the hill is the perfect compliment to the pool onsite. Also you have access to the owners snorkeling kit and beach mats/shade. Not many restaurants nearby, but there's a huge supermarket on the way from the airport, or there is a very decent mini-supermarket at the nearby petrol/gas station. Overall a great place to stay out of the main town of Papeete, very quiet, with amazing views of the ocean and over to Moorea.

The house is amazing!
The views are breathtaking. We went into this Airbnb knowing there was no air conditioning, so I cannot complain. However, if you’re the least bit sensitive to heat, this may be an issue for you. The ceiling fans do not do much to cool you off. Pictures were 100% accurate. The kitchen was well stocked, though the kettle and toaster need to be replaced. The toaster requires you to hold down the lever while toasting and the kettle leaks. Otherwise, everything was great. The communication with the rental company was a bit tedious. We booked several months out and were clearly promised a rental car from the company. A week out, we were told a car wasn’t available. Avis came through for us on short notice. Two weeks leading up to the stay were a bit frustrating for communicating, but Jeanette the rep who we eventually interacted with with truly amazing. Be forewarned, this house is in a gated community. Check-in will require someone to greet at the gate.

The Te Maru Atu AirBNB is absolutely gorgeous, relaxing, the views are breathtaking and the place is very comfortable. The place is better then the listing. It is very easy to spend most of the time here watching ocean, sunset and sunrise. Will be visiting this place again 👍

Villa Tiare was exceptional! We loved our stay at the house. The view is worth every penny and the pool is wonderful! Communication is a little complicating with limited cell service and time zone differences, but they worked well responding when able. Keep in mind there’s no ac in the house and it can get a little warm. Highly recommend staying here!

Bonjour, Nous avons passé 4 jours dans cette belle villa, idéalement placée avec une vue panoramique exceptionnelle. Elle est parfaitement entretenue, et propre. Belle terrasse et piscine ! Il s'agissait pour nous de nous poser un peu avant de partir encore un peu plus loin... et c'était un excellent choix, l'endroit est très calme. Prêt de beaucoup de choses, la villa nous a permis de rester tranquille la plupart du temps, mais aussi de faire quelques escapades sympas... L'accueil a été excellent. Et l'équipe qui gère est très aimable, très professionnelle et très réactive : merci à eux. Je recommande sans hésiter.

This place is paradise. The view is priceless! Huge comfortable home with lots of privacy. You will need to have a car if staying here. Few mins to beaches, supermarkets. We spent 7 days here and we did not want to leave. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dès le réveil, depuis notre lit, on en prend plein les yeux ! une vue exceptionnelle sur un lagon qui fait rêver avec en prime Moorea qui nous fait "nana" ! la maison est super bien aménagée, en direction sur cette vue à couper le souffle. prendre son petit déj ou bien l'apéro depuis son deck vaut largement un 5 étoiles ! Hormis le fait qu'il manque une marmite à riz, la cuisine bien équipée, ouverte, elle est également très conviviale. la chambre parentale est très grande et du coup, bien aérée, dispose également d'un brasseur d'air, c'est très agréable. 2 autres chambres à l'arrière sont aussi équipées de brasseur d'air, ce qui manque sérieusement à la 3ème chambre. je vous recommande largement de séjourner dans cette maison, elle est juste adorable ! ah oui, pas la peine de vous préciser qu'une telle maison est forcément PROPRE !! jonchée de tiarés et diverses fleurs elle sont bon TAHITI !! MAURURU !!

Superbe séjour
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au mois de mai. La villa accueille facilement 6 personnes. La vue est magnifique. Située à 250 mètres en altitude, la villa bénéficie d'un climat plus doux qu'en bord de mer. Idéal pour profiter de la vie à l'écart de l'activité du bord de mer tout en étant à 5 minutes environ en voiture des plages de PK18.

Fabulous Stay
Our stay at Villa Tiare was fabulous. The Villa exceeded our expectations ….has been refurbished and the photos don’t reflect this. The view from the Villa was breathtaking.. the interior was stylish, kitchen very well equipped with everything you might need, beds comfy, plenty of space in house and garden , and spotlessly clean. The agency was responsive and helpful. Thoroughly recommend. If ever I am lucky enough to come back to Polynesia (from UK) I hope it’s available!
